The Conference Board held a Videocast on June 3rd featuring a presentation from Louis Vong, TMP's VP of Digital Strategy, who discussed how to leverage new technology and social networking for your recruitment strategy. The Videocast showcased Q&A with Louis along with highlights from his keynote at The Conference Board's 7th Annual Strategic E-HR Conference in San Diego in February (a conference which brought executives from major corporations together to share their experiences and views on how HR can use new technology to maximize efficiency and add value to the organization).

In the presentation, Louis Vong describes the importance of developing a social media strategy, leveraging new technology and joining the conversation to attract and engage top talent to your organization. Discussion points included how social media has affected the way in which we conduct business, particularly in corporate recruitment and retention efforts, and its importance for your company "to assimilate a digital native's culture and way of thinking".

Assessing your digital footprint and developing a social networking strategy plays an increasingly important role in the recruitment world. To that end, organizations should perform a digital audit and examine their social footprint, and TMP can help design, develop and implement your strategy.

Join us for several upcoming events that address developing and executing a search and social strategy. Do you have the right strategy and presence in those places to attract your top candidates? Can you engage them and join the conversation?
