TMP Government Announces the Return of Media Executive Sara Leiman

McLean, Va. - February 10th, 2009 - TMP Government, the leading advertising and outreach communications agency serving government and a wholly owned subsidiary of TMP Worldwide, announced today that Sara Leiman has joined the company as vice president of media. Formerly employed as director of media for the TMP Worldwide office, Leiman will again be based in McLean and will oversee all integrated media strategies as well as provide targeted recommendations, program execution and campaign analysis.

"As it has so often in the past, Sara's wide range of experience with all media verticals and specialized focus on the government/contractor industries both domestic and globally will provide strategic media campaigns for our clients."

Leiman brings 25 years of experience in media services to her new role at TMP Government. During her earlier, 12-year stay at TMP (previously Stackig), her portfolio included such government agencies as Customs and Border Protection, General Services Administration, the U.S. Department of State and the Internal Revenue Service. Government contractors included Newport News Shipbuilding (now Northrop Grumman), ITT Defense and Electronics, Harris Corporation, Unisys Federal and Kodak Government and Commercial Systems.

Her expertise encompasses broadcast, outdoor, digital, direct email, direct mail, print, electronic media and others. In 2007, Sara approached Market Connections (a research firm specializing in the government sector) to spearhead the first syndicated research survey of both purchasing and media habits among government executives. Recently completed, this survey measures federal executive habits across both civilian and defense agencies. Leiman is also a member of BPA Media Advisory Board and BPA Interactive Board.
