TMP Hosts Emerging Media Seminar
Earlier this month the TMP New York Office hosted an Emerging Media Day at the Yale Club, an all-day event that gave TMP clients the opportunity to get a closer look at how new media is affecting current recruiting trends.
TMP's Steve Ehrlich and Deirdre Mammano, as well as presenters from Simply Hired and LinkedIN, helped lead a discussion on how Web 2.0 has changed the way people search, network and apply for jobs. Brainstorming sessions with more than 35 client attendees were conducted to discuss social networking sites, job aggregators and a variety of Web 2.0 tools for Employer Branding and recruitment efforts.
