Continuing our trip around the globe, did you know that Facebook has finally replaced Google’s Orkut as the most popular social network in Brazil? Thanks to a 192% YOY increase, Facebook attracted 1.7 million more unique visitors in December than Orkut. Not only that, but visitors were more engaged, spending an average of 285 minutes on the site last month.

This news leaves just six countries where Facebook is not the most popular social media platform – China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Poland, and Russia.
