Weekly DigiKnow: Hispanics Most Active Ethnicity on Social Media

A recent study revealed that US Hispanics are more active on social media than the average US Internet user. While greater percentages of African American Internet users spent larger amounts of time online than other groups studied, Hispanic Internet users spent more of their online time on social media sites.

During an average day, 26.8% of Hispanic Internet users spent 6 hours or more on social media sites, vs. only 8.5% of total Internet users spending at least that much time. Looking at LinkedIn, 15.5% of US Hispanic Internet users visited the site at least once per day, over 3x that of white Internet users. Hispanic Internet Users
